EmFace

EmFace is a hands-free, needle-free treatment from BTL that combines synchronized radiofrequency with HIFES (high-intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation). The radiofrequency works on the skin while HIFES exercises the facial muscles underneath. We offer EmFace for the two reasons patients come to us most: cosmetic lift and contour, and relief for jaw muscle tension related to TMJ.

EXION

EXION is BTL’s non-invasive radiofrequency microneedling and skin tightening system. It targets texture, fine lines, and skin laxity at the same time, and can be used on both the face and body. EXION often pairs well with EmFace as part of a layered facial aesthetics plan.

Botox

Botox is a neuromodulator we use to soften the dynamic expression lines that show up when you move your face: forehead lines, crow’s feet, and the lines between the brows. Because we work with facial anatomy every day, we plan each placement around how your face actually moves. Botox can also be used in the hands when patients are bothered by prominent tendons or surface veins.

What it does:

Temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles
Placement planned around how your face moves
Can also be placed in the hands

Microneedling with PRF

Microneedling creates microscopic channels in the skin to trigger collagen production and improve texture. We pair ours with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a concentrate drawn from a small sample of your own blood that contains the growth factors your body uses for healing. The combination supports the skin’s natural recovery and amplifies the treatment’s results.

Can EmFace help with TMJ-related muscle tension?

We offer EmFace for both cosmetic and TMJ applications. The treatment uses synchronized radiofrequency with HIFES muscle stimulation, which can address tension in the muscles involved in jaw discomfort. A consultation lets us determine whether it is the right fit for your symptoms.

Where else can Botox be placed besides the face?

For patients who are bothered by prominent veins or tendons on the back of the hands, Botox can be placed there as well. We will talk through whether that application makes sense for your goals during your consultation.

What's the difference between EmFace and EXION?

What is PRF, and why do you use it with microneedling?
