As dedicated professionals, we are deeply concerned about protecting our patients from infectious diseases. Our infection control program goes beyond the guidelines mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Because of the special trust, you demonstrate in allowing us to provide you treatment, we are committed to providing you with the maximum protection and safety.

If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call the office so that we may see you immediately. After office hours, call the office for a recorded message with phone numbers to reach Dr. Blume or Dr Patel. One of the doctors will return your call as soon as possible.
All patients are seen by appointment. When calling to schedule an appointment, please let us know what times are more convenient for you. We will always do our best to accommodate you during our appointment hours.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify the office. We require 48 hours' notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. Our office does not "double book" and your time is specially reserved for you. Most appointments are long, and without advance notice, we cannot fill your appointment. Once you have made an appointment, remembering and keeping it is your responsibility. Our office will confirm your appointment, so be sure to allow us to keep your records up to date with your current phone number(s). Cancellations with less than 48 hours or "no shows" are subject to a broken appointment fee of $50.00 for each hour up to a maximum of $200.00.
We encourage you to call with questions you may have concerning your periodontal condition. Dr. Blume's team has been well-trained to answer your questions or relay answers to you.
A Reminder about Dental Insurance Policy
You and your insurance company have an agreement that does not involve our office. We will provide you with the best-advised procedure to care for you, not based on your insurance coverage, but based on your own personal dental needs. If your insurance company rejects a claim or refuses to pay for a service, it is not a reflection of how important the service is. It is based on a master contract between your employer and the insurance company. You are responsible for any fees that your insurance company does not cover.
As a courtesy service, we will electronically bill your insurance company for any services rendered. Please make sure our office has your current insurance information in advance of your appointment.
